Almost all of the books and many of the manuscript collections of the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library have been cataloged into EUCLID. Although EUCLID contains records for all of the library collections at Emory University, choosing the “complex search” tab enables searching only among the collections held in the Manuscripts, Archives, and Rare Books Library.

Searching the entire Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library:

  • Click on the complex search tab in EUCLID
  • Set a location search limit by choosing “SPECIALCOL” in the drop down menu under “location”
  • Set a library search limit by choosing “GENERAL” in the drop down menu under “library.”

You may search by keyword, author, title, or subject, using operators such as “and, or, not” to connect search strings.
