Salman Rushdie, novelist
Salman Rushdie placed his archives with MARBL in 2007. The same year, he joined Emory’s faculty as Distinguished Writer in Residence. On the first day of his arrival, Rushdie talked to the media about what led him to place his archives at Emory, changing Western views on Islam and his novel currently in the works.
